Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA)

Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA)

An attribution methodology that distributes conversion credit across multiple marketing touchpoints in the customer journey, rather than assigning all credit to a single touch. MTA models include linear, time-decay, position-based, and data-driven variants. More nuanced than single-touch models, but increasingly constrained by signal loss from cookie deprecation and cross-device tracking limitations.
