Plan with confidence and prove the forecast: Fospha's July release debrief

Fospha's July release: Budget Planner tests spend plans before launch, Prediction Confidence scores forecasts, and GA4, Adobe, Heap, Piano now connect directly.

Ask your team how they made their last budget call, and the answer is rarely a clean one. Some built extensive pivot tables, some went on instinct, and the number that came out sounded logical, but nobody could defend it. Now multiply that across teams: brand and agency, each running their own version of the same budget analysis, in separate spreadsheets, separate slide decks, separate Slack threads, with no shared record of what changed or why. It's easy to see why budget decisions stall or get rolled over to the next cycle. There's a name for this. Analysis paralysis. And most teams are living inside it every fortnight.

Our releases this month were built around exactly that problem. Budget Planner turns Fospha's measurement into one fixed spending plan, tested rather than argued over. And once that plan exists, Prediction Confidence backs it with a track record you can hold up to finance before you act on it. Some teams never get that far, because their analytics stack isn't GA4 or Adobe. That's changing too.

Here's how each one plays out.

Budget Planner samples 5,000 scenarios, simulates 500 of them in full, and narrows to the 50 lowest-risk to build one plan

No analyst has time to compare hundreds of channels  by hand every fortnight, which is why spare budget often sits in the wrong place for months, and why a recommendation that adds up mathematically can still fall apart in practice, moving too much money too fast or letting retargeting quietly starve the spend that builds new demand. This is where analysis paralysis starts, when there's more data than any one person can compare by hand.

Budget Planner (now in Beta) samples 5,000 spend scenarios, runs full simulations on 500 of them, and keeps the 50 lowest-risk to build into one plan. It's built on what holds up even when conditions aren't perfect, rather than whatever looks best on paper. Guardrails cap how far any channel can move in a single cycle, 15 percent as a soft limit and 30 percent as a hard one, and funnel weighting stops retargeting from pulling budget away from the spend that builds new demand. It reruns automatically on schedule and lets the team know the moment a new plan's ready.

One plan, tested and bounded, instead of a spreadsheet of options to relitigate every two weeks.

Introducing Prediction Confidence, now in Beta

Most of us have moved budget on a forecast that didn't hold, then spent the next budget review defending the call with nothing more than "the model said so."

Prediction Confidence, a Beta feature in Beam, Fospha's incremental forecasting tool, gives you something better to bring into that room. It checks each channel's forecast against a rolling 30 days of real outcomes, how often the predicted range actually matched what happened, and turns that into a score shown right next to the recommendation. Now you can walk into the meeting and say: "We're moving 10% into upper funnel because it drives the most meaningful return, and I'm confident in that because 80% of this channel's predictions were correct over the last 30 days."

A low score simply means the channel needs more testing while its track record builds. It's not a reason to pull the plug.

That's the difference between taking a number to leadership and taking evidence.

Heap, Piano, Adobe, or GA4, they all plug into Fospha

It doesn't matter which one you run for last-click: Heap. Piano. Elysium. Adobe Analytics. GA4. It already holds first-party data that Fospha can now use. One shared setup connects it, no rebuild, no migration, no new tracking to implement.

No dashboards to rebuild, no team to retrain. You keep the stack you've already invested time and effort in. Fospha works with it.

One plan, one proof point

Budget Planner ends the ongoing conundrum of how to move money when your budget changes. It backs every reallocation with a track record. And now, whatever last-click platform got you here, Fospha connects to it directly. Three new additions, all designed to make marketers' lives easier.
